HOUSE RULES & EXPECTATIONS
At Phoenix Sober Living, our goal is to provide a dignified, structured environment that facilitates long-term recovery. Success in our community is built on mutual respect, personal accountability, and a commitment to the 12-step way of life.

Core Safety & Conduct

Zero Tolerance: No drugs, alcohol, or banned substances of any kind on or off the premises.

Accountability: Residents must submit to random urinalysis (UA) and breathalyzer tests 2–3 times per week. Refusal is considered a positive test.

Conduct: No physical, verbal, or emotional abuse toward others. No weapons or gambling allowed.

Tobacco/Vaping: No smoking or vaping of any kind inside the house.

Respect for Space: No going into other residents' rooms. No nudity or sexual activity on the premises.

Employment: All residents must be employed or seeking employment. No 3rd-shift (night shift) positions are allowed to ensure consistency with house structure.

Recovery Requirements

12-Step Engagement: Residents must actively work an AA/NA 12-step program with a sponsor.

Sponsorship: A permanent sponsor must be obtained within the first 30 days of residency.

Meeting Attendance: Mandatory attendance of at least 5 meetings per week.

House Meetings: Attendance at the Weekly Sunday House Meeting is mandatory.

Community Events: Participation in scheduled Phoenix community events is required; advanced notice will be provided for all events.

Curfew & Leave

Standard Curfew: 11:00 PM on weekdays | 12:00 AM (Midnight) on weekends.

Late Arrival: Contact the House Manager immediately if an emergency will cause you to miss curfew or a mandatory meeting.

Overnight Passes: Residents are eligible to submit overnight stay requests after 90 days of successful residency.

Property Standards

Cleanliness: Exhibit a lifestyle of hygiene and respect. Beds must be made daily, and common areas must be kept free of personal clutter.

Utilities: Do not touch thermostats or air conditioning units. Turn off lights and appliances when not in use.

Ownership: Treat this house as if it were your own home. You are responsible for your own mess; no one is expected to clean up after you.
