COMMON QUESTIONS
What is the average length of the stay?
While there is no minimum length of stay while the average stay of 10 to 12 months is suggested.
What goes into the decision that a client will be able to move out?
When the individual and his or her support group feel significant progress has been made in their recovery and are comfortable and confident the individual can return to the mainstream.
Is there a curfew?
The day of Intake (move in day) curfew is 10pm. For the first 30 days of stay curfew is 11pm, 7 days a week. After the first 30 days of stay, curfew is 12am 7 days a week.
Are there any exceptions to such a curfew?
Yes, we can make exceptions due to work schedules. We encourage all of our residents to seek and obtain active employment. If your work schedule requires you to work past curfew, you must first request permission from a house manager and then provide verifiable proof of working past the curfew (i.e. clock out sheet, time card etc.)
Absolutely! Max & Flow understands that plumbing emergencies can happen at any time. That's why we offer 24/7 emergency plumbing services to address urgent issues promptly. Whether it's a burst pipe, a clogged drain, or a water leak, you can rely on us to respond quickly and resolve the problem effectively.
What are the consequences for violating any such curfew?
House restrictions or discharged immediately
If a resident needs to travel for a job, is this possible?
Yes, the resident can request an overnight pass. Residents must apply for over night passes and the request must be submitted 3 days prior to the house manager.
Does Phoenix Sober Living assist with financial assistance?
No, we expect and require our residence to have financial means to support their recovery.
Can we bring our Pets?
No Pets allowed
Do you provide daily meals?
We do not provide daily meals. Part of independent living requires residents to supply and prepare their own meals. Residents have access to a modern community kitchen, appliances, dishes/silverware, pots and pans, and storage for their food.
How many people are there to a room?
Room occupants vary depending on the size of the room, but normally 2-3 beds.
Are there meetings in the house?
Yes, each house has a weekly in-house recovery meeting for its residents (no outside attendees are permitted)
What is the Intake Process?
To begin your journey with Phoenix Assisted Living, please call our office least 7 days prior to your desired move-in date for a brief Phone Assessment, which takes about 5-10 minutes. If you need to move in sooner, don’t worry; we are happy to accommodate you. If you are coming from treatment, we will request your medical records to ensure eligibility. Once approved, a non-refundable Intake Payment covering your first full week is required to schedule your Intake appointment. Please note that Intakes are appointment-only and available Monday-Friday from 10 AM to 3:30 PM. You must move in by 10 PM on your scheduled Intake day.
Does Phoenix Sober Living provide transportation to and from intakes?
We do not provide transportation to and from intakes.
Can I have visitors spend the night?
Residents cannot have people spend the night.
What happens if I relapse?
In the unfortunate event of a relapse, you must vacate the properly immediately. If you are discharged for a relapse, you will be referred to a detox facility. Re-admittance to our facility is not guaranteed. Further information about our relapse policy is available in our resident handbook.
